Resubmission of Erroneously Denied Claims for Select Clinical Laboratory Codes – P44458

The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) identified a claims processing issue affecting claims for select Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) waved codes. This issue caused claims to erroneously deny with Remittance Advice Details (RAD) code 0008: The provider of service is not eligible for the type of services billed. The issue affected claims for dates of service from June 1, 2015, through June 6, 2023.
