CMS Postpones National Coverage Determination for PrEP, Says Decision Is ‘Forthcoming

Under its proposed national coverage determination or NCD, CMS would move coverage of PrEP from Medicare Part D to Medicare Part B. The agency said it has received several comments voicing concerns that the transition from Part D to Part B could create some complications.
