Description: The North Shore-LIJ Laboratories opened its doors in early 1998, occupying a new facility and employing state-of-the-art robotics. Located in Lake Success, New York, the Laboratory is a fully automated, 60,000- square foot institution that offers both routine and esoteric testing services. Customers include: physician practices, network and non-network hospitals, nursing homes, and the bio-medical industry. The scope of specialty testing includes: flow cytometry, special coagulation, molecular diagnostics, complex microbiology, virology, endocrinology, toxicology, cytogenetics, molecular genetics, cytology, and anatomic pathology.
